Building a Cosmic Identity: Third Eye TV
I designed a branding package for “Third Eye TV”, a fictional tv channel exploring the universe's mysteries. The goal was to design two screen that smoothly transitioned between each other, including a lower third. I set my target audience as those us that are more interested in the secrets of space and the universe, along with conspiracy theorists, I drew inspiration from retro science diagrams that you’d find in an old textbook and a space aesthetic to create an immersive brand identity.

Project Outcome: A Triumph for Third Eye TV
The brand packaging video for Third Eye TV was a great success and makes for an excellent showcase of my motion skills. I really enjoyed learning these new techniques in After Effects, particularly the creation of a looping pattern and an grid-like room design. These elements brought a unique aesthetic to the video that I feel captured the brand's essence. My professor was thoroughly impressed with the final result, giving me nearly full marks. While I can't think of any changes I would make, this experience made me certain that I was made for motion design, which is what I really hope to go into for my placement. Overall, this project not only showcased my skills but also filled me with excitement for future design challenges!
